Thought the apple season was over?

As the season slows down My Apple Juice has launched one final push to encourage people to gather up the last vestiges of their crop (esp cookers).

50% of all donated apples brought to us will be pressed for free into 3 litre pouches and given to the donor’s local food bank. I have contacted the Trussell Trust and they are happy for juice to be included in the food boxes as it is pasteurised. The other 50% we will press into bottles and sell to people who do not have their own trees. Could you all please encourage anyone you know who still has apples – even windfalls – to gather them and bring them to Warren Farm. We will wash and inspect them all before pressing. So far we have made 69 pouches (see photo – 3 litres each = 276 bottles) from donated with more to be pressed. If anyone thinks the harvest is finished – as I was typing this another 130 kg was delivered, see other photo below, and he has the same again at home which he will donate….. Thank you for reading – sharing and encouraging.
