Our support workers spend quality time with people living with dementia either in their home or out and about in the community. They aim to build relationships and promote independence for people in the early to mid-stages of dementia. In December 2017 our Support at Home team was named Best Team in the national Dementia Care Awards.
Our support workers come from a wide variety of backgrounds – like the people we support – so experience in the care sector is not essential. Life experience and a caring, empathetic nature is the most important pre-requisite and we give full induction training and shadowing so those who are new to caring feel supported and confident in the role.
We are especially looking for candidates from the Malmesbury, Royal Wootton Bassett and Tidworth, Pewsey and Marlborough areas.
You will need a car, and to be able to provide regular hours each week. Benefits include paid travel time and a health plan. All our staff have comprehensive induction and regular training. Mileage is paid at 45p.
