The next meeting of Marlborough Area Board takes place on Tuesday 23rd January. It starts at 7.00pm in Marlborough Town Hall, with coffee and networking from 6.30.
On the agenda will be a talk from Clyde Nancarrow about Marlborough’s Merchant’s House. This 17th Century building is located on the High Street and contains many original features, several of national importance. Clyde is Chairman of the Merchant’s House Trust so is ideally suited to speak about the house. The area board has supported the trust and the house with several grants over the years.
Also on the agenda, Andrew Jack, Community Engagement Manager, will update on work towards projects that address the issues highlighted in Marlborough’s Joint Strategic Assessment. It’s nearly a year since the community came together to discuss the top issues for the area. Since then, there has been a lot of work on projects to tackle them.
